By sending us your device you are undertaking a contract with Gadget Revamp to repair your device with the booked repair. Once the device is repaired you will be invoiced. When payment for the invoice has cleared Gadget Revamp will return your device to you using an insured courier service. Return postage is included within the repair price.
It is your responsibility to send us your device in suitable packaging that can be reused. You should use a suitable postage service that insures your device. Gadget Revamp will not be responsible for any loss or damage to a device sent to us. We will use the same packaging to return your device, if the packaging is unsuitable an additional repackaging fee of £3.00 will be added to your invoice.
Gadget revamp will do everything reasonable to retain your data but will not be held responsible for any data loss. Your data is your responsibility to secure and backup for recovery purposes
We have requested your device passcode, this is necessary for us to fully test the device. If the passocde has not been provided, or removed, then any undiagnosed faults will not be covered by the repair. We will contact you in such cases to explain the situation.
If the fault with the device does not match the booked repair or if there are multiple faults with the device, Gadget Revamp will contact you to discuss options. This may include to continue with repairing the device or returning it as a no-fix.
In the unlikely event that Gadget Revamp cannot fix the device you will be contacted with options. There is no charge for a device that cannot be repaired, regardless of technician time spent or any parts used. If you would like the device returned to you then an invoice for return postage will be generated depending on the type of courier service you are comfortable with. Alternatively, Gadget Revamp can recycle your device free of charge.
All repairs and parts used are guaranteed for 180 days. To invoke a guarantee repair please contact Gadget Revamp using the website, there are no charges for work carried out under guarantee. If the repair is not found to be faulty, we will contact you to discuss options, these are generally the same as a standard repair or a no-fix repair.
If the device has been worked on before by another technician, known as "prior repair attempt", Gadget Revamp are happy to look at the device but reserve the right to make an additional charge to cover any additional time needed to resolve the faults from the previous repair.
If payment of any invoice is not received within 30 days a late payment fee of £10.00 will be incurred. If payment has not been received within 6 months of the repair, Gadget Revamp reserve the right to recover costs under The Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977
