- I'm worried about security, do I have to give my passcode? We do require your passcode in order to fully test your device before it goes back. We certainly need it to recover any data. Gadgetrevamp are fully compliant with the UK GPDR guidelines and ensure that your data is not copied or accessed unless required as part of the testing. We take your security seriously and would never access it unless necessary. For data recovery the data will be copied to our secure server allowing you to download it remotely for recovery. We may also copy this to a USB drive and mail it to you. You can choose to remove your passcode before sending it to us if this is easier. If you do not provide your passcode we will be unable to test the device and any rework will require a separate repair. In such cases we will discuss your options with you.
- How long does it take? We aim to get your device repaired within 48 hours of receiving it Mon-Fri. Invoices paid before 3 pm will have the device mailed back the same day with next day delivery fully insured. after 3 pm the device will be mailed the following day.
- Your repairs do not match my fault, can you still help? Yes we can, please use our contact form to request a repair quotation and we will add this for you or advise on the standard repair to book your device in with.
- Will my final bill what is quoted? Yes, provided that the fault with your device is the same fault as the order. We understand it is not always straight forward to diagnose a fault, just book in the repair closest to the fault you have and we will contact you to discuss options before any work is carried out if the price changes.
